Aerospace VR Showcase · Deployed at Aero India
HAL needed a compelling way to bring the complexity of a modern fighter jet cockpit to life for defence officials, international delegations, and the public at Aero India. A static display could not communicate what it feels like to sit inside the aircraft, and a physical simulator was too costly and logistically impractical for a live exhibition.
LifeVR built a high-fidelity interactive VR cockpit simulation with accurate flight instruments, HUD displays, and weapon control interfaces, optimised for 90fps on enterprise VR headsets. The experience was deployed across multiple Aero India stands and gave visitors genuine hands-on access to the cockpit environment.
“The simulation gave our delegation something a static display never could. Every visitor who put on the headset walked away with a real sense of the aircraft's capability.”

The simulation is optimised for Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Varjo, and other enterprise VR headsets, running at 90fps+ to eliminate motion discomfort during extended sessions.
Development spans several months from initial reference capture and asset creation through to a fully optimised, exhibition-ready build. Timelines vary depending on the level of interactive detail required.
Yes. The same cockpit simulation pipeline can be adapted to other aircraft types and defence platforms. Each build starts from reference material for the specific aircraft.
The simulation has been deployed at Aero India and other major defence exhibitions, where it has engaged defence officials, procurement delegations, and members of the public.
From defence simulations to destination weddings, LifeVR builds VR experiences tailored to your industry and goals.
